The Budd Center: SMU Simmons School

INTEGRATED MARKETING CAMPAIGN

The trauma of living in poverty too often causes children to struggle academically. As part of the Annette Caldwell Simmons School of Education & Human Development at Southern Methodist University, The Budd Center: Involving Communities in Education addresses challenges by equipping schools and nonprofits to work together and meet the unique needs of children living in poverty.

The Budd Center wanted its brand communications to express its passion for helping children fully. We started by establishing a core message, "Community Builds Kids," action-oriented and positive. Visually, we leveraged the equity in the silhouette theme used by the Simmons School and created a typographic solution to reinforce the core message and objective. The result is a campaign design that conveys a youthful enthusiasm for children growing out of poverty.
